Josua R. Dorulian has extensive and comprehensive experience in advising both local and multinational clients on a wide range of transactions and legal advisory matters, particularly in the areas of banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets. After earning his Bachelor of Laws (Sarjana Hukum) from Universitas Indonesia, Josua pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Cornell University.
Following the completion of his LL.M., Josua spent 10 months working at an Indonesian bank in New York, where he served in a dual capacity as Compliance Officer for the bank's New York Agency and Cayman Islands Branch. In this role, he gained valuable experience in regulatory compliance and cross-border banking operations.
Throughout his career, Josua has advised various foreign financial institutions on a broad range of financing transactions, including cross-border syndicated financings and large-scale project financings. More recently, he has been actively involved in advising clients on complex financing structures and strategic acquisitions involving international investors.
Josua is also a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI).
