Imam P. Jati

Prior to joining AYMP, Imam has worked as a corporate lawyer by teaming up with one of prominent law firms in Indonesia.

Imam has been directly involved in a wide range of national and international transactions. This has led to his involvement in advising governmental entities and various businesses including state-owned enterprises and corporates on national and international transactions. He has extensive legal experiences in corporate law, merger & acquisitions, corporate governance, investments and corporate-related matters fields. He also provided advice on cooperation business schemes for certain infrastructure projects, implementation of good corporate governance (GCG), state-owned enterprises’ goods/services procurement, in which he has extensive regulatory knowledge with a focus on the airport and seaport development. Several high value transactions have been handled, among others the acquisition of pre-stressed concrete company conducted by one of State-owned enterprises engaging in construction; assisted on the acquisition of shipping company conducted by one of State-owned enterprises engaging in shipping & maritime; providing white book for certain State-owned enterprises’ container terminal development; and drafting and reviewing standard operation procedures of the biggest telecommunication State-owned enterprise related to implementation of good corporate governance in their group.

He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from Universitas Indonesia, and has been licensed as an advocate of Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI). 

Aside from his dedication as a lawyer, Imam really enjoys on playing sports, especially basketball and had won a lot of trophies when he was at school.
