Wemmy has always maintained a harmonious relationship between his skills in law and economy. He followed his interest in law, after spending his first half of undergraduate term in accounting and finance, of which both are done at Universitas Indonesia. He continued his graduate studies through the European Master in Law and Economics (EMLE) program in the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy, and returned to AYMP with an advanced understanding of the economic analysis of law.
His diverge education and extensive experiences have given him enormous advantages in dealing with numerous cross-border projects, including international financing transactions, issuance of equity and debt instruments, as well as merger and acquisition projects.
He has advised domestic and international clients of numerous bilateral, club-deals and syndicated financing transactions involving multi-jurisdiction financial institutions, cross-border assets and shares acquisition projects with complex transaction structures. Wemmy has also become one of the go-to person for mining and energy related matters due to his ability to understand transactions from business and economic perspective.
