Richard Yapsunto went to the Law faculty at Universitas Gadjah Mada and felt a strong interest with civil and business law. During his study, he realized that it might be combined with his skills to understand complex legal cases. As his interest grew on the close link between law and business practice, Richard then pursued his advanced legal study at the University of Technology, Sydney in Australia, majoring International Business and Economics Law.
Until today, Richard continues his practice on general corporate matters including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment and corporate restructuring in various sectors, i.e. mining, oil and gas, and multimedia telecommunication. He is also involved in domestic and international financing and commercial transactions which include debt and equity securities issues and REPOs transaction for major international financial institutions. Eager to initiate new legal field, Richard has assisted clients in the booming Sharia industry.
Apart from his office life, Richard has a keen interest in photography and golf which teaches him how to make a focal point in his works and life. Different positions will result to different focal point of the object and of course different view.
