Gunadarma has a broad experience in both regional and domestic finance transactions as well as mergers and acquisitions. His general banking and finance practice includes acting for both lenders and major corporate borrowers on regional and domestic syndicated loans, structured, acquisition financing, derivatives transaction, and debt restructurings. For General Corporate practice, his expertise encompasses foreign direct investment into Indonesia, local and regional joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring. He also advises on a broad range of commercial dispute and litigation processes in Indonesia.
Gunadarma graduated from faculty of law, Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya, Jakarta, with a Summa Cum Laude predicate and was also top 1% graduates in his class. He continued his post-graduate study at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Philadelphia (USA), under a full-scholarship program from the government of Indonesia. He also attended a summer course program at Fordham Law School, New York (USA), studying introduction of US Laws and New York State Laws. Gunadarma is a licensed Advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI).
While not practicing law, he dedicates his time for legal education in Indonesia by becoming a part-time lecturer at several leading law schools in Jakarta. Recently, he has also acted as an advisor to some Indonesian youth organizations that focus on the development of young generation in Indonesia. During his spare time, he likes running, swimming and is currently training for triathlon.
